about 55.00 for both flange and vband clamp in SS... although if you search around you can find it a little cheaper. I was in a rush at the time.

Yea that one would be one that would work as well, although ATP is a little higher than some other sources for stuff like this. Its funny they say 2.5" cause its not reallly a 2.5" and not quite 3" either where it meets the turbine outlet if you measure them.

i dont mean to start a fight but why have it built around driving with the filter on? isnt the point of a front facing kit to let the turbo get as close to a open air source as it can? also any plans for a cam sensor bracket as close as the runners are to the sensor?

Its not as close the sensor as the pics look, but why not build a manifold to fit a filter??

There are people out there with monster turbo cars that dont daily but occasionally drive thier cars very spirited on highways. Also billet wheels dont come cheaply, they filter is not going to be a restriction, and if it is, at most its going to knock of 5whp.

Hope that may answer some of your concerns.

i only ask as i drive a foward facing turbo kit as i have seen a 35r on a traditional manifold and with c16 and 30 psi it made slightly more power then my car did on 93 and 24 psi. I myself DD to and from work with out a filter, snow, mud, rain, or flood. (seen below) and mine is no where near anything out of the ordinary other then turbo placement. i say once its all said and done tune without the filter and then put it on and see what the difference is in #, again i only wonder as the way my thought process is if you give your self enough space between you and the car in front you you there should be no issue with anything of issue getting in there, and bugs be damned. serves them right for biting me

P.S. manifold is sexy

This is the only forward facing kit that I have seen that can accept an air filter. Its nice to be able to run a filter on some days, and take it off for race days. I personally would never run without a filter because I drive too damn much... And like less10 specified, replacing a chipped up billet compressor wheel isn't cheap at all.....so why not have the option of the air filter...

Awesome fabwork by the way....looks great!

h22, not correct. Our FF kit fits a filter and a fairly large filter actually.

Thanks for the compliment h22gordo! I kind of have my doubts about the filter though. When we get it on the dyno we will do some pulls with the filter on and with it off and see how much of a restriction if any it is.

You need to run the car at the track with and without the filter.. Thats how youll see the gains.. as for losing only 5hp.. whoever said that has no clue about what they are talking about.. they are guessing and are wrong..
