Problem with cooling mist.

Hello.
I bought this trunk mount kit
from cooling mist. Not too long ago.

and I'm having a large problem with it.
The system primes, and stays primed for a bit (like it should)
just parked. I hear the pump clicking, and then hear the nozzle spraying
with a louder click.

Another thing is that I prime it parked, then I drive around for the day.
Then use the system, it will not work for at least 15seconds
until the system primes the line again. My guess is that the motor
sucked out ALL the water in the line. I can prove this with datalogs
where I would not get richer until mid 3rd gear (80 mph)

I emailed the owner of cooling mist and all he says is
"just set the switch to activated at lower boost"
So no real help there.

Thanks guys. I can get pictures, Datalogs, vids. Whatever you need.
this just terrible.

Also. I primed it to the nozzle, then left the nozzle hanging for maybe 15minutes maybe 2 drops coming out.

I have a few problems with my Stage 2 kit and replaced it with a Labonte Motorsports. Does your kit include a solenoid? Mine ended up failing on me causing me to replace the unit. Once I got a new solenoid I haven't had a problem with it not injecting on time. The pump would only come on if I reset the ECU. Once it came on, I would do a test, then would not prime anymore. One thing about this kit was that Dave spent many hours on the phone trying to troubleshoot my system, even though it never worked for me. What setting is your vari-safe set to come on? I had to set mine like 4 psi lower than the actual number.
If your system doesn't have a solenoid, you might want to purchase one.

He told me I do not need one.
I even told him about it and he just pretty
much laughed like I'm dumb. It was through email,
but it seems like he doesn't want to help at all.

did I post in the wrong forum?
I see there is another water/meth section.

Yeah this isn't really concidered "advanced", you would have better luck posting on the other section, just ask a mod to move it if they don't mind or start a new post on the other section. There's some videos around showing you the effects of not using a solenoid and the meth continuing to dip after it's closed. I wish you the best of luck, I paid 700.00 for my kit and had to replace the main parts to get it working. I spent over 1600.00 in installs (with other mods also though), and about 2 months of trying everything to get it right to no avail. I'm a newbie with meth, btu believe the solenoid will help hold the meth ready to be used. Search the forums and try to find slowcar, I searched all his threads to get a better understanding of the meth systems.

Thanks for the reply.
I understand you guys have allot of emails to
crank out a day, and responses could lack some
answers. I'll call.

It's just whoever answered the email
meant to say,
"Look... we sold you the kit, it should work the way it is, thanks, bye"
Still, I understand you guys want to get through all the emails.

I will be glad to help you, but I think you are being bit harsh. I agree its very possible our email answer was not as thorough as you would have liked, its difficult to diagnose and go back and forth. Nobody would have said or meant anything like what you said. Its important to us that your system works, it doesnt do us any good or you.

when you call we will be able to figure everything out. I sincerely am sorry if any of our emails were misunderstood. I understand how you feel, while we answer all emails we get, we can be far more thorough through a phone call. Emails are more for quick questions.

thanks!
