Aquamist 2D system Newbie questions

Hi all. I just picked up a Aquamist 2d injection system and wanted to know the advantages of running water vs methanol or a mix of both through it. Pros and Cons of each? I've tried doing some searches and did not find anything conclusive. I am going to be running a system on my Evo 8 as well as my supercharged 4runner. Is the pump that is included in the 2d system enough to pump water or methanol from the trunk up to the engine bay?

from what i have heard and read.. the pros for mix (50/50) would be better cooling effect, no cons as far as i know
no pros for just methanol that i have heard or read.. but cons would be methanol might affect the hose(s) that carry the methanol, in the long run that is...
so i dont know if that would be true or not..

your best bet is to pm SlowCar or RichardL or KevinD

100% Water, anyone making power?

Good info on the different mixes ^^^

For the Aquamist 2d pump its recommended to be put closer to the battery for optimum power. If you have an EVO8 its easy, you can use your intercooler tank and pump. Have the pump be a priming pump giving you an additional 10% of flow to the RACE pump (about 500cc) you can run 1 .8 and 1.4 nozzel or 3 .4 nozzels.(which I do)

All this can be installed in the engine bay and the tank at a 50/50 mix should last 2-3 weeks. 50/50 mix will be your best bet, as recommended by Richard from Aquamist and by myself from countless hours trying different mixes.

If you have a hard time getting meth. Go to your local Autozone and ask them to order their own valuecraft brand of -20 windshield cleaner (blue) its a 45/55 mix (meth/water) and works great and is cheap for 6 gallons ($10-$15) Good luck!
