Quick Question About Meth

i'm getting the Snow Performance Stage 2 Meth Kit within the next couple months. i dont think i want to have the kit on 24/7 so i wanna install the power switch. i was wondering if there would be a problem if i drove with the meth kit off even if im tuned with it on?

Its not a hard concept. Conservative tune with it off, aggresive with it on. Get a tactrix cable and switch the maps when you want to run the car.

would it help if i bought the safeinjection add on for the kit? i wouldn't be running the car hard when the meth kit is off.

the meth only turns on when u hit a predefined boost level... u can have it set to go on at like 15psi and get the stage one on/off kit and itll only spray over 15psi...

thats the way to go for people who dont race much and drive conservatively daily

talk to dan @ ultimate cheapest and knows the kits front to back, thats his business and all he sells..

yeah i did some more reading about the meth kits and found out that it turns on at a certain boost level and it sounds like it lasts pretty long (4-8 minutes @ WOT). i know it depends on the size nozzle you use also.

My kit is set to start spraying approx. 10 psi. I drive it daily and it never comes on until I drive spiritedly.

that correct.. its not constantly flowing...

for example.. i was gone for a week and during that same week my sisters car was in the shop so i let her borrow it. when i got back there was no meth used at all cause she doesnt really get into boost... yet she put 400 miles on the car... you can use it up in 10 minutes or it can last a month.. its all based on how aggresive you drive...

i have 2 m15 nozzles... and two 1 gallon tanks... when i go out racing ill do maybe 8-12 runs and will use abotu a gallon of meth...

So how much does the meth actually cost and where do you get it at?

you can get 5 gallon sealed drums for around $30. search your local yellow pages for "chemicals" and give the shops a call and see if they sell methanol. you might have to explain that you are using it as an "alternate fuel".

what's up man i didnt know you used the snow performance kit. are you coming to the meet today at the Otay mall? maybe i could check out your set up. i'm guessing you're getting the VCS3G. i read a little about it and it looks good, but just a little pricey. i might be interested in the failsafe though since it's temporarily unavailable through snow performance. maybe they're coming out with something new?

Drives: My girlfriend insane.

From the damage I've seen to motors. I just say no to meth. It's good for what? another 20whp yet requires way too much maintenance.
