Aem meth kit

Whats up evom. I have a stock motor evo 8 with a ets 35r turbo kit. Ets fmic and buschur exhaust. I have a bunch of other supporting mods my main question is my tuner is pushing me in the direction of using meth. I am still on a stock motor and am aiming to make 500 whp. I know i can do it with or without the meth but i want to know which one would be safer. Also i just put my aem ems on and i was told i can use the aem ems to control an aem meth system. After reading over a dozen threads on this forum i see every one is recommending the aquamist meth system. Im not worried about the spending more for a meth kit. Im just wondering if the aem ems manages the aem meth kit shouldnt i just go with that kit. Im just looking for another opinion outside of my tuners. Thanks

The AEM meth kit is pretty basic. The Aquamist HFS-6 or even the HFS-1 is much better. From what I understand you can use the nitrous tables in AEM to configure the failsafe. IMHO stock ecu + aquamist + tephra mapswitching is the way to go:

Aquamist HFS-1, GM BCS, and Tephra v5: together at last!

I'm making almost 500whp with a tiny little BBK with meth, the 35r better be able to get close on just pump. If your goal is only 500whp and meth is an option, you might want to reconsider your turbo choice and go with something with more bottom-end

I have had the chance to test and use just about every alky kit on the market.
Everything has its place Labonte motorsports Kits, Aqua mist, Cooling mist, Aem ect.

Labonte, Aquamist ect are great when uses stand alone fromnt he ecu like stock ecu, cobb ap, ecu because of all the failsafes and how they work.

Since your using the aem ems and can control every aspect of the alky kit through the ecu id use the aem ecu.

Most stand alone alky kits use a boost cut failsafe. When using the alky kit with aem ems you can set up boost cut failsafes, along with a secondary fuel table and secondary ignition timing maps.

Good luck you should have no problem hitting over 500
