Leave the restrictor out. You need to oversize it so if there is a leak, the failsafe will detect it.

So should the restrictor size be based on your jet size - or your flow size?

for example if I need to flow 500cc/min, but I have decided to use 3x 1.0mm jets (so I _could_ flow 1500+ cc/min) do I choose the 0.7mm restrictor (0-680cc/min) OR no restrictor?

Restrictor is based on flow.

Add up your jets and pick the nearest restrictor above. Do not go lower otherwise the failsafe will not be able to detect a leak or cut hose.

for 500cc/min go for a 0.7mm restrictor. If you go for 3x 1mm (1500+ cc/min), then no restrictor.

But is it based on actual flow? OR max possible flow?

In my exact case:
I only _need_ 1x 0.8mm jet. However I have opted for 2x 0.8mm jets.

Do you see my qandry?

I will ACTUALLY be flowing about 450cc/min. So do I choose 0.7mm restrictor?

OR

Because I have the capability to flow ~900cc/min do I go with 0.9mm restrictor?

Yes, the restrictor is based on maximum flow.

In your case:

1x 0.8mm use 0.7mm restrictor
2x 0.8mm use 0.9mm restrictor

It is quite easy to change restrictors. The jet adaptor comes with a banking plug. If you are using one 0.8mm jet, just plug one up.

We are going to reduce the flow capacity of ther inline valve to ~1200 cc/min in the next few months. At present, we don't have any one using more than 2x 1mm jet. This will simplify the restrictor selection.

awesome thx!

burnzy will be sending me his spare 0.5mm jet, so I think in the end I will just go for a 0.8 + 0.5, so still require a 0.9mm restrictor (723cc/min max from 0.5+0.8)

Now, you now the set up to run W100%. W50/M50 and M100%. All you need is fitting three maps into your patch
