Jet location for evo X?

Hi Guys,

ok so I think I will run 2 jets, however I am not sure where to put them.

What do you think?

Realistically I can only tap into the #10 pipe there...

Cheers
D.

#7 is not metal eh?....that's too bad Aftermarket piping an option?

I'd say right at the TB in #7 near the TB, as well as right near the FMIC outlet, somewhere on pipe #10...be sure to mount it in a fashion that won't get caught by road debris or anything, from the top or something.

If you gotta stick with stock piping, I say put one on either end of pipe#10.

Yeh I have been looking at an aftermarket LICP... but don't really want to spend the $$$'s

So I was thinking of two 0.8mm jets, thoughts?

Given the run to the BOV return is so LONG I should really have any problems with mist (or whatever) getting to the turbo should I?

Actually thinking about it I could cut #7 and insert a short metal pipe (with Tclamps) and then tap that.

Is having a jet closer to the TB much better?

ie just before the bend on #7 VS at the end of #10

Not a bad plan! Yes, closer = more octane, farther away = better cooling of intake charge

Doing one close to the TB and one at the side of #10 close to FMIC outlet is ideal IMHO.

ok i will see if I can get some correct sized pipe

quick Q about jet sizes:

is it NOT advisable to use different sized jets?

I am still not sure if I should go for:
2x 0.6mm
or
2x 0.8mm
or
1x 0.8mm + 1x 0.6mm

If someone were to say jet size makes frack all difference then I will just get an extra 0.8mm (to save money!)
