2-Step with Meth

Hey Guys,

I tried searching and didn't find anything. I'm running 50/50 meth. My question is on 2-step. Right now I'm building about 10 psi, and I have my system to start spraying @ 8psi. Are there any harmful side-effects from spraying during 2-step, or should I raise the start point start spraying to about 12psi?

I would raise it above 2-step boost without a doubt.

Couple reasons -

2-step if fuel cut, which means if you spray meth you are running the engine on 100%meth during the fuel cut revolutions. Potentially dangerous

Also, if you spray a lot of meth, might bog the engine once you come of the two step.

Because I have the same setup and my meth does not spray in 2step mode. My meth starts when the turbo starts spooling but not on the 2step or at 20 psi and up.

I was wondering about this myself because my system sparys at about 9psi I think, but I dont launch the car so I dont think for me it is an issue.

You could also hydrolock the motor. I would raise it, meth would be needed for 10psi on the 2step anyways.

In other words just raise the engagement PSI.

Your turbo is spooling on your 2 step. I would think your meth is just set-up to come on a higher psi then whatever your 2 step is.

Sorry to bring this post back up but i was a little curious if anyone was using NLTS with their meth injection?
