Labonte Meth kit issues...***

I just had my Labonte Meth kit installed and I am having some issues. When I step on the gas (in any gear) the boost will get caught up at about 12psi for about a half second and then will go to full boost. If I start off in 1st gear and then "bang" through the gears, it will get caught at 12psi in first gear then shifting through the others seems pretty much fine. Can anyone explain this...
I have the VC100 controller and IFS30C fail safe.

I had the same issue, since the failsafe is limiting boost before flow starts, once flow starts there is a 1.2 second delay before the solonoid opens. I guess its designed that way to make sure there is continuous flow and not just a sputter.
the best way to fix this issue is set your starting set point lower, i.e instead of starting at 15psi have it set to come on at 5psi. that way once you hit 5psi that way you wont feel the delay like how you hit 15psi stop and feels like hitting a brick wall then go again.
