methanol consumption

guys how long does your meth last? I know it is about as subjective as what kind of MPG do you get? and all depends on how you drive the car, but what are you guys seeing? I went through a tank just tuning. so quite a bit WOT. I am running the Labonte Progressive Kit. Starts to spray at about 7 psi and is at full spray by about 17psi or so. thanks guys

I have no idea of what size nozzle comes with that kit, but if you are using enough to make it work with any reasonable degree of effectiveness, it will go quickly.

If you are interested in making the most of the reservoir capacity, I might suggest not activating it until maybe 18-20 psi.

My 3.6+qt stock 03-04 reservoir lasts about 1-2 gas tanks. If I'm in tuning mode it will be a guaranteed 1 tank. If I got my car where I want it and i'm just doing my occassional spirited run. I can get about 1.5-2 tanks out of a full reservoir. My kit is on off and starts at 10psi.

Wrong section...

My 1 gallon lasted 2 weeks, or half a trackday. Just depends on how much your boosting and how big your tank is.

thanks guys, sorry about the section...Updates, It is a 1 gallon tank, and I beleive m12 nozzle. I know it comes on the boost a bit early but its the most effective at that point. The upside to an early spray is that it is progresive, and sprays more as the boost goes up, spraying max at the final setting of about 17 psi. In a way I sort of thing it is better that way rather then on/off at 20psi. I hit 10 psi not even trying... A larger tank might be in order depending how long this 5 gallon can last me.

My 2 gallon of meth last about two gas tank fills. DD + spirited weekend driving.

Is that the spray setting your tuner recommended?
Starting to spray at 7 psi seems awefully low even for a progressive system. You might want to bump it up to start spraying min. at 12psi.
