I've been running a 50/50 mix on my Talon AWD for many years and also on my Evo for several years. I have to agree with esevo that it is the best of both worlds. I have never run pure methanol nor will I ever because of safety issues. If you click on my HFS-5 thread in my sig you can see some of my latest results I've achieved. You just have to tune the 50/50 mix a little different.

Remember that water injection loves lean A/F ratios to make the best power. I hope you have a very good water/alcohol system with a good fail safe incorporated if you want to continue experimenting.

Also go back to the drawing board with your tune. Also consider changing jets. Make sure its distilled water, take your time and log as much as you can. I promise you will see the results in time.

^^ Thanks guys...The kit is an SMC v2 (progressive) -- I know it may not be of the same quality as Aquamist, but has worked fine for many...My failsafe is a boost solenoid connected to my Zeitronix wideband, which I hope is sufficient. I will also be loading the Tephra mod v5 soon to switch maps upon certain knock criteria.

QQ -- I am using an M10 or MW10 (10 gallons / hr) nozzle, should I change to a smaller nozzle?
