Greddy Emanage Ultimate with Aquamist 1S, 2D, 2C

i have the Emanage Greddy Ultimate (EMU) with a boost sensor connected.

could i use the 5th injector output from the EMU to control the HSV from Aquamist? (this might be a question meant for Greddy people... but i'm trying it here first.)

or rather, how would i go about doing this combo?

can you give some more info on the extra injector driver.

It sounds like it could most likely control the HSV with any aquamist system.

if the EMU can control the HSV, then what aquamist should i be looking at?
the 2C model?

i'm currently on the 1S model. so, i just grab the HSV to complete the kit?

Look at the HFS-5 or 2d systems. These kits work great! The HFS-5 is for high volume 2d for lower volume. What car is this for?

The HSV in these kits mimic the 3D graphing the factory injector, hard to beat factory.

it's for a Supercharged 1.8L 2ZZGE Supercharged engine.

hmm, either the 2D or the 2C should work for my case.

the 2D would probably be alittle more easy in that i do not have to hook it up to the EMU n tweak/tune from there (while costing alittle more.)

the 2C will have to be tweak/tune (while cheaper a ta.)

however, there's only the upgrade kit that converts the 1S to 2D.. and nothing on 1S to 2C. so, 2D then.

Talk to Richard L from aquamist he with set you up with what you need to convert everything to what you need.

I have answered your post in the NASIOC forum. Nowhere to hide these days.

I believe the 1s is more suitable for a S/C engine due tio the instant load response. YOu need the water instantly and lots of it at one time.

Replace the MPS (806-157) with a "normally closed" relay, triggered by the 5th injector output of the third part ECU.

i use a sub I/J map to control the HSV of my aquamist 2C on my 3000gt !

go to parameters settings and I/J
select CH-5 or CH-6 and right clic on the type box and select sub I/J

then select a sub I/J map and make your tune in fonction of boost and RPM.

you will be able to make a tune like the map in the 2S documentation


edit : if i remember, the EMU I/J output will put the signal to the ground ! so just put a 12V + fuse on your HSV !

and then, you can use a NVCS map with ON-OFF relay to control a IC spray or something like that !

i realised that these are the two forums that you are more actively involved.

reckon it might be better to share this knowledge rather than asking you via email.
i'm sure you get tonnes of email everyday. and among those, many would be asking the same questions. (hence, the forum would be an ideal place whereby most people would be able to find answer to their issue.)

regarding the relay.

if so, it would be an uber simple swap of the current wonky pressure switch for a new working one.

Richard, i opted for the 2D kit instead of going sub injector on the emanage.

installed the 2D system on a supercharged 2ZZGE Celica.

wiring is correct. the FIA2 green light lit up during engine
start/idle. n it flash faster when the throttle is applied.
the red light (water injection) lit up during boost situation, when
more throttle is applied.

when the car is not in gear/not moving. the engine is ok. (as in the
engine would rev smoothly.)

but once in gear/on the move, the engine will bog n the revs will
hestiate at around the 3000rpm mark.

please advise.

It appeared the red and green wire on the FIA2 is reversed. When triggered, the FIA2 starts turning on the fuekl injector, flooding the engine and caused the misfire.

For the time being, wire the red wire to a known 12V (steady) and put the green wire to each leg of the fuel injector until a flasjng green led is establish. You can then reconnect the red wire back to the correct leg of the fuel injector.

One question, It there resistor pack in series with the fuel injector?
