estimated gains with meth on std 8?

how much would it make using meth with retune.
stock block* and head and inlet and turbo and 3" tbe decat and walbro.
but block has forged rods for safety.
if i have this right with meth i can run more boost due to detonation resistance but wont more boost on a std 8 turbo just make lots of hot compressed air?

Huh?

Typically adding a methanol injection system will give you a 30-40whp increase for a stock turbo.

Meth without ecu tuning is useless and would not get him hp/tq gain.
Meth allowed for better AFR, timing, and boost optimization thus the hp/tq gain.

Don't expect gains as big as "mr-derer2" got. It is likely that his pump gas tune was very conservative.

I switch back and forth between pump and meth pretty often and I will say that it makes a huge difference. No where near 63whp and 112ftlbs but enough that you REALLY REALLY feel it.

I used to run pump gas to only 22psi and then going to meth @32psi was an even bigger difference. But now I run 26psi on pump and I run it pretty damm lean up top nearly 12.0 on pump. So with a pump gas tune that aggressive meth won't make as big a difference.

It is safe to say that you will pick up at least 50tq I would say. Enough to make 2nd feel like 1st, and 3rd feel like 2nd, etc...
