Ultimate meth kit
What is one of the better kits i could run on my evo?? Price isn't much of an issue. What is the preferred way to run meth?? progressive, etc?? (still kinda learning the in's and outs of meth). I deff want a kit with a good failsafe, but still wanna make power. Any input is appreciated

a good meth kit shares these features:
-full atomization - important for even distribution of injectant to all cylinders
-predictable in delivery of water/meth
-has a valve, either high speed or medium speed - to immediately stop the flow of injectant when not needed anymore
-a failsafe capable of detecting ALL injection faults - no flow, low flow, high flow, tank low
i recommand you read more about the simple yet highly effective aquamist hfs-1

VERY nice SlowCar ,you can really see how well the Aquamist contolls the fluid. Thanks for taking out the time to make the vid. Im about to upgrade my IC and pipes to ETS stuff. Im torn between the HFS-1 and the -5.

A checkvalve or electronic solenoid would shut off the methanol flow just as fast. Our meth injection kit employs such a device as part of the system.

solenoid valve yes
checkvalve, no - eg. checkvalve cracking pressure = 20psig, line pressure = 120psig...where did the 100psig pressure go, swallowed up by the checkvalve?

both the 1 and the 5 are highly predictable and easy to tune
my recommandation is try the 1 and if you decide to go with the ultimate in injection technology, then upgrade to the 5

Here is a video of our S-HSV kit vs one of our competitors kits we purchased from Summitracing. Both kits have the same size nozzle and were fed from the same signal and had identical start and full pressure settings.

I would have to agree with slowcar: Aquamist is an AMAZING kit. I personaly have installed 6 water meth kits 5 have been Aquamist. I wont name the other lets just say it cant compare. We are expecting several kits coming in from Richard and will be glad to hook it up, along with installation help (over the phone)
Good luck,
Evan Smith
