coolingmist: more info on this please

hi david, just saw this on your site:

Customers vehicle is a 99 F350. They really cool thing? These gains are bolt on only. No tuning, no extra chips. They dynoed the vehicle with the methanol injection off and then with it on. The results are in INSANE 205 Ft torque and 117 HP. Compare to our competitors stage 3 which needed a bully dog chip to gain 70 HP and you will see why our kits are designed better. This kit uses dual pumps that are injected in sequential stages using our Smart Controller. Injection was a combination of EGT and Boost. The first stage had a single pump with a 12 GPH nozzle, the 2nd stage had a 2nd pump with 2 12 GPH nozzles. Due to the different stages and full pressure the atomization is superior to a progressive kit. Due to the exact tuneability of the Smart Controller the customer was able to make these insane gains. The exact kit the customer used is HERE
http://www.coolingmist.com/newspage...._key=F350Gains

do you have the before/after injection datalog of this 2 pulls?
-EGT
-AFR
-Knock sensor voltage
-timing
-boost

Contact the guy who did the Dyno. He was blown away by the product. I can tell you this, the first run was with the WI off, the 2nd run was with it on. No other mods were added for the 2nd run, boost was not increased, etc. They are going to add another jet to the first stage to see what happens next.

Our Smart Injection controller is simply the most flexible controller on the market, bar none. He used a combination of EGT and MAP for activation. Alot of customers are doing some really cool things with it. We are quite happy.

He is a customer. He never bought any other kit from us other than the one he put on his personal vehicle. Initially I thought he was going to be a dealer, however he cannot sell enough to get our big discounts so no he is not.

I know where you are going with this, the dyno charts are LEGIT. He was going to purchase painless performance, but liked ours and was glad he did. He did not receive ANY discount for a dyno. Infact, I had no idea until months after he bought it that he was going to Dyno it. I removed his phone # from my post above, if you need again, just PM me.

ALSO...why would even bring this up on the EVO forum? Has nothing to do with an EVO.

it has nothing to do with an evo...but it has something to do with performance enhancement thru WAI...i'm most interested in that

You should call him. I was honestly blown away from the results. I have never seen this much gain from any kit we have ever sold on any vehicle.

Our smart injection system requires more setup than our Vari-Cool, but due to the fact you can customize it you can do things with it that you just cant do with any other kit. I believe the smart injection controller was the key to his gains. Not just the controller, but the fact that it was coupled with dual pumps and of course EGT and MAP activation.

I know you personally dislike all of our products, particularly the little blue box, but results speak for themselves.

I vividly remember a dyno claim and statements that were used as a plug to sell kits that turned out to be ENTIRELY FALSE = and fudged big time = people who knew how to read dyno print outs jumped all over your case and you cried foul till even the noobs could see the wrong being done.

I have all the info, the comments, the posted dyno sheets, cached web page showing the dyno being plugged.

You have a bad track record in using unsubstantiated and overblown claims to sell kits and then backing off and crying foul ball when challenged by people who are not noobs.

You contact the person and and have him or her post up the dyno info OR you yourself backup the person who's claims you're using to plug your kits.......do not sidestep this one.

These dyno sheets are 100% legit. I have NEVER, EVER, EVER posted a dyno sheet that I KNEW WAS false. The dyno sheet you are refering to was on a WRX and it was from AGILE performance. They did the dyno and asked me to post it (back in 2005 I believe), if they forged it I know nothing of that.

The person that did these dyno did so on his own vehicle and I knew nothing of it until he did. My company does more than enough volume, I have no need to sell MORE kits, infact we are and have been at MAX capacity for quite a while now. I wish you would quit attacking me. These dyno sheets are LEGIT and I DID Not post them on this forum because I know you and your cronies would attack me for it.

Im not getting in the middle of this one but just from a business perspective why would you claim to have no interest in selling more kits? You have no intent to grow your business?

That seems silly, no offense.

the reason i started the thread is because you claimed nothing was done - no fuel trim, no increase in boost/timing AND injecting 36gph/~2300cc/minwithout a tune - richer=lower afr=slower combustion=power drops, all other parameters kept untouch

a person "in the know" seeing that will know something does not add up and start questioning...no?

I never said his truck was not stock. He has added alot of MODS. What I am saying is that when he ran the water injection he did not add any other mods during the water injection run. I never meant to imply that the truck was bone stock.

I gave you his name and number. Why dont you call him? He is a nice guy and will be straight up with you. Please report your findings back to this thread.

we are growing the business, what I am saying is that I dont need to make up stories to sell more kits. I probably could have phrased that better.
