AEM meth kit help

Need help with where to wire the green wire and blue wire. This is what the directions say, both are on the variable pump controller.

Green wire, Boost-Safe output for timing retard or boost dump solenoid. 1.7a Max

Blue wire (opt) 0-5vdc pressure signal. (.328v = 0psig, 5vdc = 38psig).

Any advice would help, Thanks.

You do not need to connect these wires. The blue wire can be used for a boost gauge. The green wire is the fail safe output and should be used for safety. I have not installed my system yet but I plan to connect the green wire to a relay that will cut power to my boost control solenoid when the system fails thus only allowing waste gate boost levels.

im not sure if this will work, the ecu needs the wiring to the solonoid functioning or it will throw a CEL. You got a good idea, but I think it would be better to put in an additional solonoid to connect inline with the OEM solonoid. So now when you failsafe turns on your additonal sol. it will stop flow running through the OEM and boost will work off your waste gate.

I think you are right. At the time I was using a EBC so forgot about the cel. I now have a nice set up that Jack_of_Trades worked out for me. It's a simple hack of his Tephra V5 map switching cable. Simply flipping the switch will arm the AEM system and switch ECU maps. If the AEM detects a fault and activates the failsafe the maps will switch back to default automatically.
