yes the mac valve will work. Slow car listed a link for the MAC valves a while back. Here is the content of the link:

MAC Series 36 solenoid valve:

where to buy:
http://www.macvalves.com/distributors/USA.htm
Part #:36A-AAA-JDBA-1BA
they are about ~$20+

when you call then to buy these valves, just tell them "i want to by a mac valve part #36A-AAA-JDBA-1BA". Do not mention alky injection or failsafe or anything as this will CONFUSE the #%$* out of the sales person!!

having said that, I have not installed one of these, but one of our customers use this valve on his EVO kit and it works great.

Here is his review, he installed the MAC valve.

Also,

I dont know when you purchased your kit, you should download our new flash/applciation. We have many new features added in the last month. PM me if you dont have our latest so I can send you. You can flash the smart controller yourself and replace your application with our new one.

Yes if you use the MAC valve listed above by Abner the kit will work with no problems. I tried 2 other 3-way solenoid valves and they were to restrictive internally.
