SMC tank for Aquamist kit????

Is it possible to use my existing SMC tank (in the engine bay, where the intercooler sprayer boost bottle was) or even my old intercooler sprayer boost bottle for an Aquamist tank? Also is it ok to mount the Aquamist pump outside the car, for example on the frame rail? Im tryin to avoid having the meth venting in my enclosed trunk.

We encourage users to install the pump and components in the trunk to keep things clean and such, but you can install outside if you like. I would try to shield the pump and the attached components from road salt, rocks, dirt etc..

Ideally you want the tank here (higher then pump)

the float here (lower then tank outlet)

pump here (lower then tank outlet)

Installing like this makes priming really easy.

You can use any tank you would like to use. Plastic tanks such as the Flambeau 5 - 6 quart tanks seem to be very effective. They work because they are taller which prevents fluid slosh. Shorter more squat tanks can have fluid slosh issues and its easier to have the float sensor be uncovered in these instances which will trigger a low fluid fault/error to the DDS3. Aluminum tanks and methanol do not play nice so plastic is better. Stainless works great too but cost for effect is not worth it IMO.

You know, I'm getting sick of calling Flambeau Fluid System!!!!

Flambeau Tanks
they never answer your calls, emails, voicemail! I called today at around 8 am and some lady answered but then put me on hold for sales, 6 minutes later... I hung up!
Where can we find some tanks similar to Flambeau! I would like to use professional looking tanks versus a gatorade bottle. Not in a hurry to get one but it would be nice to have a reliable company to deal with!
