Another Aquamist install in Tucson!!!PICS

I helped my best friend Rick here in Tucson AZ by installing his kit for him then tuning it.

The kit is Aquamist HFS-5 with two 1mm nozzels running 50/50 water meth. The tank is a JDM STI water intercooler sprayer 12L(4 gallon) tank. With priming pump and low level switch. = A LOT OF METH!!!

The tank location is the best part it is easy to fill, still leaving plenty of room and it still has room for a strut bar and spare tire!!

The tune; The car hit 12.0 AFRS, 5 degrees timing at peak tq, Boost at 1.75 bar NO knock! This car moves!!!

MODS: TBE, BC, METH, BOV.

More pics of the car (inside and out) here;
IL2AZ Shoot: Back from the dead with some shots of my friend's evo

Enjoy!!!

i like that tank. is that really 4 gallons? doesn't look it. i got a 2.5 gallon waiting to go in and its looks a hell of a lot bigger than that one.

(2) 1.mm nozzles of meth/water and your only running 25 psi of boost? TURN THE BOOST UP :P

seriously though, i just did another tune on an HFS-5 equipped car with an evo green. 30 psi with a .8mm nozzle and a .9mm nozzle 100% meth. you can definitely run more then 25psi on stock turbo with that much meth. i did that with 100% water and pump gas.

very nice install!

Question, you have cut off terminal on the red cable, did you have problem mating it with the HFS-5 harness?

Thank you guys! Richard- Not one problem :-) It was fine, I just wanted to solder everything for reliability plus it made the cable smaller so it was easy to hide ;-). I have had bad luck with bud connections in the past. This kit was a breeze compared to my 2d!

Thank you. I understand.

When you clean the gauge face, use very soft fabric with some diluted mathanol or the surface will be scratched.
