you can use any tank size you want, thing to remember is to go for tall and narrow tanks so as to not draw gas bubbles into the pump intake when the injectant sloshes around.
here is an example of such a setup, triple 6 quarts

Is that your current setup? How much would it cost to buy three of those tanks? Where exactly did you buy them from? What equipment would I need mount the three tanks and to have them work properly on a daily basis Could I just use one 250 volt pump from smc or would the standard one just be fine for three of those tanks?

^^that's a pretty sick hook up!! Sorry if this is a stupid question, but does the pump draw from all 3 tanks at the same time or one at a time until empty. I'm sure it would be all three at the same time.

this is my setup
the 3 x 6 quarts setup is Milo's, more pics in the thread
Milo's 18 quart Aquamist HFS-5 methanol/water injection system + pics of car
Super Size It! - Aquamist HFS-5 Milo style
the 6 quart tank is ~$25 ea, more info on it here:
http://forums.evolutionm.net/showthr...10#post4568510
the mounting hardware are all bought from home depot
-1/8" x 1.5" x 36" aluminum strips
-5/16 bolts/nuts in 1" and 1.5" length
the schematics for hanging 2 or 3 of these 6 quart tanks
hanging twin 6 quart flambeau tanks
imo, this is the most well put together water/meth injection system available,

they are all rigged to a common manifold, so injectant is drawn equally from the 3 tanks

Would the pump that comes with the smc kit be enough to pump meth from lets say 3 6-7 quart tanks mounted like yours?

My inspiration...
Since I actually got my inspiration from this thread...I'll post up a pic of mine YES, I know the thread is older and I'm bringing it back from the almost dead
I know the tanks are dirty (this was taken right after I did it and hadn't cleaned them). I also have cleaned up the wires so you really can't see them at all now.
The red stuff on the center tank has been cleaned off too.
I had to overlap the tanks because I wanted my full trunk space so the pump had to sit up there by them (the inner mounting holes of the two ouside tanks are shared by the mounting holes for the center tank). My old set-up was the pump screwed into a 5 gallon gas jug so this new set-up is much nicer hehe. I know about the height differences from the pump to the tanks but the pump has no problem pulling the juice. I had a similar set-up in my DSM and never had a problem with it. Enjoy
