Nitromethane Thread

I want to know who on here has actually tried this, I would like to know:

How long you done it
Did you see any improvement
Any damage
What mix you are running with it

I have research and its still a gray subject on this forum, I ran it once on my srt-4 but I really couldnt do a good comparison. Since when I ran the mix I had a BOV leak from hell and even running open wga I could only boost to 20 but I say the car still felt strong. Anyways just wanted to get some solid info up here for people who are curious and thinking about doing this like myself. I have a mix in my head what I want to use is the 30% Nitro RC Fuel and if your worried abou the oil affecting your nozzle/pump the oil is really @ a low % when mixing it to a gallon of your w/i mix (like 1-3%). If you think about it should increase power quite a bit since nitromethane carries it own oxygen, that why it would result in a leaner mixture but mo powa.

check the aquamist board, there are a couple old threads discussing the use of nitro.

there is not much info on this site about it other than this post which you have already seen.

yeah I read all about nitro on that forum couple years ago and recently last week.
