Alky Injection-Yes or No?
I just spend a considerable amount of $ building a new motor w/ Carrillo rods, forged pistons, good valves head etc...because of a few "issues" i had last year
I want the maximum performance on pump gas & it seems that Injection is the only way to run higher boost levels-Only problem is the horror stories that I've heard w/ pump failure etc...-The last thing i want to do is spend another $10,000 building a new motor So.....Should I or shouldn't I do it?

It's cheap and easy HP. With the failsafes in place now, there shouldn't be any issues. Just tuning.

Failsafe?
I no longer have the Vishnu Exede & did not purchase an AEM EMS (which I understand would allow you to run a nitrous map w/ some failsafe in it?)
So,....What failsafe would I have?

I just upgraded my pump with alkycontrol who makes AMS' kit and he didn't mention anything about a failsafe either.....Anyone who does have an older pump, it is worth sending out to get modified for peace of mind. It was only $44.

The most economic means of having a "failsafe" mode would be to instal a flow monitor between the pump and nozzle which will then activate a safe timing/tune setting or open the WG.
If you have just the ECU by itself then a flow sensor that energizes a NC WG actuator solenoid would work by dropping the boost in event of spray failure. If you have other forms of aftermarket eng mgmt. the flow sensing controller can also pull timing in addition to dropping boost to 13 psi.
Another way for a wider margin of safety is by spraying just enough methanol to inhibit detonation for your desired peak boost. If overloads of methanol is used the tune will use less gas to compensate which pushes one further away from safety
Details on who sells failsafe products can be found in this section

Snow?
I have decided at this point to not rush into anything, so I'm not going methanol right now-Looking into other options race gas, bigger turbo etc...
Thanks for the SNOW info i'll check into it!
