Has anyone tried powermist Hot Shot methanol?
I have been told that powermist makes a methanol that is blended with some other "go fast" goodies that increases power. I think that it is called hot shot or hole shot. I have not really looked into it, but I would not doubt that there is a very small amount of nitro in it. Anyone know more?

i used to use powermist race fuels in my 600 super bike when i roadraced. they make some really sick race fuel blends. their office/shop is in stickles pond, nj - used to drive up there and pickup 50 gal drums of 120+ oct fuel for me and my buds. sweetest smelling face fuel i ever used, expensive too. i would imagine that their meth blend is just as good, and probably expensive too.

From the Powermist website.
HOLESHOT METHANOL
For optimum acceleration and mid range punch, a further refined ultra pure methanol with an added kick. A hybrid product caught in the chemical transition between methanol and methyl terterary butyl ether (MTBE, 4%). Extra oxygenation means extra power! This product lowers specific gravity flow requirements, thus making available a wider range of jetting options. The benefits of Holeshot Methanol over regular methanols are:
• Easier, more consistent jetting
• Cleaner, more efficient combustion
• Passes water test

There are plenty of other mixes available, you just need to search around.

I talked with Dynoflash Al about a year ago (when the alcohol injection started to become popular for the EVO) about mixing in nitromethane in the system. He said he might try it sometime, but I never heard anything more about that idea.

I'm using the holeshot. I've never used anything else so I don't have any thing to compare it to. Not sure what typical gains are but with a SMC kit and #7 nozzle I went from 321/309 to 355/355 on 26psi. Cost was 45.00 for a 5 gal. pail.

Damn, wonder what it would do on 34psi?

You can also make something similar yourself using: http://www.snowperformance.net/prodd...p?prod=Auto120
The stuff HAS to be injected via your injection kit, you just add per instructions with the methanol and boom - 30 whp. It will lean you out so you have to adapt to it.
Stuff contains nitromethane which by all means can be considered concentrated liquid air.
