I remember I did a water sprinkler system on my WRX a long time ago. Off course it was all superficial but neither I have the knowledge not the proper components to make it work to spray inside the upper intercooler pipe.
Now knowing very well how the system works I wouldn't mind doing it again.

I have seen many DIY system working successfully over the years - perhaps someone could list site that describe such systems.
I have come across some very old schematics as old as 1930s. Amazed how the concept keeps creeping up especially for the last few years.
Fourteeen WI manufacturers - I am still counting ! Some mention of DIY systems definately deserves some mention and discussed.

I remember when I use to have my WRX , I use to bring a huge bag of ice cubes and place it in top of the intercooler for a few minutes right before racing it at the track. I also use to pour the ice in the windshield reservoir because that is the actual place where I use to get the cold water from when I was spraying into my intercooler.

EvoM is a great place to share ideas and information, if you are willing to try and asking questions, a good DIY injection system is not too far away

Hello All,
Here is a link to my DIY kit. I have been running it on all of my 4G63 powered cars for 5 years with great success. The setup is inexpensive, effective and extremely reliable.

Your instruction is very comprehensive, considering joining the vendor section?
Great installation. Total cost $187.99 ... great DIY savings

Sklow car,
Since you started the thread, you have access to the first page, could you list the DIY links when it gathers enough links over time?

Another fine example of a DIY system, your details are far more comprehensive than some of ours - shame on us.

Somebody please invent a solvent injection kit that lifts your right foot just before it malfunctions and fails to spray.
