A suggestion on your fine document.

Adding a wiring / block diagram to go with the text would be worth a great deal in confirming proper installation.

Request:

I would really like to see a list of the file names and numbers, versions etc. of the XEDE firmware, map software and stock maps that we should be using for this.

When I go to the "xede Support" section, it is really hard to tell what I need to be using on a go forward basis.

So, what is the scoop? If I want the latest firmware, XMAP and stock off the shelf maps for SMART and non-SMART XEDE.

Not everyone has Microsoft office...a PDF file will be more appropiate for distribution...

Where is the new SMART firmware file? Its not on the Vishnu site or the Chip torque. Also, what is the name and part # of the connector needed for the ECU and XEDE connections to the harness? This way I can setup the launch control today too.

These guys have been busy, i'll help you out.

The manual now weighs in at a hefty 730KB, a small improvement from 10MB. Thanks MS Word!

If you are going to make any other updates to the install instructions maybe tack the page numbers to the heading? I printed the stuff out and dropped it i the driveway.....it didn;t get out of order or anything but it made me think that it could be helpful to some...haha

also one other question....do you need the smart firmare in order for the launch controls to be active after wiring it? Stupid question probably, but I figured I'd ask. I was going to go wire that up while I'm waiting for smart to arrive
