New Type Of Carbon Rear Window Vents

Ok guys I've just found a company who produce the finest quality rear window vents we have ever seen.

These have foam inside. The foam is fully enclosed between the two carbon panels and the quality of the carbon is fantastic. The foam helps to keep things out of the car such as rain and insects but it still allows air in and out which reduces cabin pressure and allows the air vents to work at their best.

Item: MT Evo 10 Carbon Fibre Rear Window Vents.

Price: £195.83 GBP plus vat and shipping. If you are outside the EU then you would not have to pay vat. As for shipping you would need to contact us for a shipping price.

What is the point of these other than being different? Do you put the rear windows partially down and then fit them between the window and top of the door?

Yes these fit between the window and the top to allow air flow in the cabin.

The difference is that window vents are usually a flat piece of carbon with clips bonded on. The clips are usually pretty fragile and can break quite easily. These vents are 2 pieces of carbon which have been bonded together to make a 1 piece unit which is much stronger and looks much better.

They are in a totally different league to any other window vents I've seen.

Question:

How do I clean the vomit out of my mouth that spewed forth when I saw this product on display?

Man that's just silly, and I'm being nice.

I'm not sure I get what you mean mate. I take it you don't like them but I fail to see the point of your post.

...you realize that window vents are a necessity in some race classes, right? Like, if you've gutted your car for weight and have no AC. Race regulations won't let you even crack a window, this is the only option.

I repair/fab carbon fiber, fiberglass and plastics, and that looks well built to me. A lot of the big name carbon labels out there are terrible. These are fine.

I think he thinks it's purely cosmetic.

That was it... With the intended purpose and need, it looks like a good part. I really just thought it was 'stuff thrown on a car just because'.

My bad, and apologies, carry on...
