its also a good alternative if , u blew up ur motor and u are going to rebuild ur motor , cause if u blew up , u probably have left tiny pieces of metal in the oil cooler (U REALLY DONT WANT METAL PIECES IN UR NEW BUILD )

How does its performance compare to the stock unit?
If you get the SS hose, do you attach the SS hose to the fitting, or does the customer have to do that. I know it can be tricky to do for a first timer.

Great point! We actually have a car in the back that falls into this scenario, its definitely not worth the risk of reusing the stock unit!
In regards to the fittings they do not come installed on the lines unfortunately  Those looking to ease their installation should go with the push lock hose, but if you're dead set on the SS feel free to shoot me a PM and I'll see what I can do to get them assembled for you.
