For future reference both the MC side on the 9 and the slave on the X is 10mm banjo. I would recommend a new banjo bolt on the slave since the end on factory line is rather thick. Not sure if factory bolt will seat all the way.

Holy crap how the hell do you get the two hidden nuts off on the clutch pedal plate? DG any tips? The middle one maybe but that top left corner one is completely hidden. Not really sure how to access it.

DG, or anyone with this experience:
Has replacing the X MC with the Evo 9 MC increase clutch disengagement?
Let me try to explain, I have replaced my clutch twice now and am working with Southbend clutch to "get this clutch right" and it is almost perfect. They have fullfilled my request to lower my engagement point, however, now the clutch doesn't "completely" disengage ( drives fine, shifts fine when moving, hard to shift when stationary) . I need about another 1" of travel (I guess).
Instead of pulling the clutch for a third time and sending back to SBC for a third time, I am wondering if a Evo9 MC will buy me some additional travel at the TOB?
I know I cannot gain any additional stroke at the pedal as I am already hitting the floor, I need additional stroke at the TOB.
Sorry if this is slightly off topic, but it is a EVO 9 MC question

Hmm, it's pretty close to the floor. Not RIGHT off the floor but engages about optimally I would say. The throw seems shorter so it's nice in that respect.

Pete I am getting tons of trans noise after the swap. I'm worried maybe the clutch is not engaged all the way with the pedal out? It's really only decel whith clutch engaged. Never made noise with stock MC. This is an Exedy twin plate.

No answer on this? It is SUPER loud compared to how quite it was with the stock MC.
