Just brought the evo x back in for pedal adjustment. With the Helm Joint we use, we can adjust the pedal to stock height. Page 1 updated!

So I assume you can use a AMS EVO IX/VIII clutchline, since the fitting at the slave cylinder should be the same?

So a few questions....
If I ordered this...what all would I need to do to my car to fit this? You said something about trimming? Not sure if you meant the Master Cylinder or what.
Also, how much work is there in installation. You don't have to drop the tranny or anything nuts do you, lol???

Just call your local dealer, order an evo 9 master cyl with all the lines.
Trimming of the Clutch Master Cyl "tunnel" (firewall) entrance needs to be trimmed and notched out to make this fit.
No the tranny does not need to be dropped. Your whole clutch pedal assembly must come out and be send to us for modification. Turn around time will be 3-5 days depending on your location!

K thanks, I will let you know when/if mine goes to pieces. Hopefully if it does this is in my budget, otherwise I might have to try and do the AMS ring with a clutch install if my master cylinder holds and my clutch goes for simple cost savings. This option looks like a better solution though for sure.

Yes. A little hard to get in there but far from impossible. Once there is enough room, the clutch pedal assembly will slide and bolt right in. After that you have a few plugs to connect and then a few lines with some bleeding. It will take 1-1.5 hours tops for the whole installation.
Remember, we came up with this, just call for help when the time comes and we will walk you through it!

Some other minor fabrication and trimming of the clutch master tunnel is needed to make this fit.

I just wanted to point out that on my car the pedals aren't perfectly aligned. It looks like the brake pedal is a little bit higher than the accelerator and the clutch is a little bit higher than the brake. So the side effect of raising the clutch pedal probably won't be noticed. This looks like a great solution. I will be going to DG to do this when the time comes.

Yes, that was before we adjusted the clutch pedal with our joint. We can get the clutch pedal within an 8th of an inch to stock! I will take new pictures and post them up shortly!

I just want to be clear on this. According to the first post DG motors can get the Evo 9 parts for $200 for us and then have them modified and installed for another $300.
