Rota Torque-R for the EVO X : Now available in a wide variety of colors!!!

The Rota Torque is now available in a wide variety of colors for the Evo X!!! These wheels are 18x9.5 +20 and they clear Evo X calipers with plenty of room

Available Finishes: Yamaha Black (gloss black), Full Royal Sports Bronze, Gun Metallic, and the ever so popular Hyper Black
Wheel weight: 22 lbs

Full Royal Sports Bronze *In Stock*

Hyper Black *In Stock*

Yamaha Black *In Stock*

Gun Metallic *In Stock*

Like all Rota wheels these pass the renowned JWL/VIA test standards and are track proven. GST Motorsports is a well known US Time Attack team that puts these wheels through a ton of abuse and have had a great experience running Rota wheels. They currently run the P45R for their dry track days and the Torque with their wet tires

Quote from GST Owner/Tuner Mike Warfield

"We have smashed burms, jumped the car and done all things brutal we can and we have never hurt a Rota rim ever.

For sure the best wheel for the $ and strong as hell.

Mike

Yea you can definiately run 18x9.5 +20 fitment on the Evo 8/9 however this would be mostly for an "aggressive look" only, it would require stretched tires and additional camber on a stock bodied Evo 8/9. Also just to note, on the Evo 8/9 this setup will require an 8mm spacer in front to clear the calipers.

I ran both the 18x9.5 Torques and P45R's. Both had trouble. Both needed 8mm+ spacers. Time for Rota to make an EVO 8/9 SPECIFIC BIG 18" wheel.

Kris recently came by the shop to pick up his new wheels/tires. This setup not only looks amazing in person but it also handles great Once he returns home he will be installing Cobb lowering springs and taking some updated pictures of his ride.

These only come in 18x9.5 +20 fitments, we are not offering a higher offset as it will contact the calipers. You are correct, generally a lower offset will push the wheel further out towards the fender.

The 18x9.5 Torque is meant for the Evo X only, this is why I put "for the Evo X" in the thread comment They will "work" on the Evo 8/9 however as you know, you will need to run a spacer in front to clear the calipers. These wheels fit right on the Evo X without spacers and look amazing! (we do have wide 18x9.5 applications coming out for the Evo 8/9 very soon that do not require spacers, Rota DPT is the wheel and it looks amazing and is very light )

Fitment will depend on the tire size you plan to run. We have a lot of customers running stock 245/40/18's and also wider 265/35/18 tires with 0 rubbing at all on stock fenders and their cars are also lowered with Eibach Pro Kit springs. If you do plan to run a wider 275 then I do recommend rolling your rear fenders.
