O2 Dump Housing from EvoPowerMods.com
----EvoPowerMods-----Originator of the O2 Dump Housing----
And also Still the LARGEST Volume O2 Housing on the Market for the Evo
And the Only O2 Housing on the Market Proven and Backed up with Data; to Make Big Power.
.....Dont' be fooled by the Imitators go with the Best and Largest O2 Housing Anywhere......
The EvoPowerMods Totally Divorced O2 Housing is just what the Evo needs to produce big power. Whether it be the stock 9 Turbo or the Bigger Bolt-on Turbos such as FP Red/Green and even the CBRD bolton Turbo; the EPM O2 Housing/Dump will be needed to squeeze every ounce of power out of a Modded Evo engine setup. Evo's running Big Cams or Spraying Meth or even the Evo that has mild mods the EPM O2 will give you power and help you obtain a faster time slip, and the sense that your engine setup is now much more efficeint.
We worked diligently Researching and Developing the EPM O2 Housing for 3 months; with a theory that Power Gains were there by using a Much Larger Turbine exit tube, and also an atmospheric Dump on an internal wastegate. We eventually realized our goals and finished R&D with our Prototype #4. What you are looking at is what we have designed from scratch. Not taking something and modifying it; we went to the drawing board with what we thought would work to gain some lost power out of an Atmospheric Wastegate Dump. Our first attempt after lots of tuning managed to eek out just 4 Horse Power. Disappointed we were; but we were determined to see some impressive gains. We kept at it, and in our next design we saw a modest horse power increase over our first prototype, with this new data we knew in what direction we needed to go to accomplish seeing some impressive gains in power. So with this knowledge; we set out to completely start over with a design that would be as big as possible to fit in the tight confines of the 4G63T Evo engine bay. Our Design incorporates a much larger amount of volume discharge compared to the stock, EBay O2 housing or even the modified Ebay O2 Housing/Dump. As you can see in the pictures below comparing the Megan O2 Housing on the left and the EvoPowerMods O2 Housing with Divorced Wastegate on the right side of the picture.
As it is clear to see the comparisons are staggering. The amount of Volume that the EPM O2 has is more than 40% larger than the Megan Racing O2. The EPM O2 will outflow anything on the market. The size, shape, radious, and angle of the EvoPowerMods O2 Housing with Divorced Wastegate are very different and so much larger than the Megan Racing O2 Housing. We sourced a very unique Radious 3 inch Stainless 304 Tube from a leading aircraft manufacturer. Our Design incorporates a much smoother design where the exhuast gases coming out of the Turbo now have a smooth/easier transition through the O2 Housing tube. If you look closely at the Megan Racing O2 Housing you can see how the Turbine exhaust slams into the back wall of the Tube, on the EvoPowerMods design that exhaust gas now has an angled arching radious for the exhaust to follow out of the O2 Housing. The Top View pictures also show you how our design has so much more volume than the Megan O2 Housing. This design is what makes the EvoPowerMods O2 Housing with Divorced Wastegate very unique and unlike any other O2 Housing on the market today.
OurProduction price will be $258.00 plus shipping. The president of our parent company NoLimit Industries is determined to offer the best and most reliable Product, at the best price available. We will stand behind our product both from a craftsmanship point of view as well as our product making power and doing what it says it does. Basically our product will allow the Turbo to breath/exhale much better. Since the turbulence of the internal wastegate will be relegated to an atmospheric Dump with our part the Turbo can now make power rather than fighting for space in the exhaust system. There will be much more room for Tuning with our part, the Turbo will spool much quicker, Power will be made.
On our original Test Mule, (an 06 Evo MR) our O2 Dump made big power to the tune of 14 HP at the wheels, along with full boost being attained much quicker, the power generated was seen all across the rev band. From down low to the mid-range all the way to redline our O2 Dump made power. That in itself is an exciting and hardly ever seen feat. A bolt-on making big power almost throughout the rev zone. We feel we are onto to something big in our O2 Dump. Take a look at these graphs to see for yourself that power was made all through the rev band.
Our Test Mule had the basic bolt ons/supporting mods; that will one day build on themselves with major upgrades down the road. The owner plans on taking the stock Turbo as far as is possible, and our O2 Dump will work beautifully with that plan. Even after the Stock Turbo has been replaced with an upgraded but still internal wastegate unit our O2 Dump will still be very useful. Our Test Mule Evo flowed very very well before our O2 Dump was installed; and to see these results was really enlightening and surprising. This is proof there are gains to be made with our part. Every Evo will be different and show different gains; however we have been very honest and tried to show just what our O2 Dump can do for your Evo. There could be a case where More power can be had, or maybe in a very modded built Evo a slight but significant gain will be realized. The Benefits just do not lie with a power increase, but also seeing the elimination of boost creep(a major problem for some Evo's), full boost realized much earlier, quicker faster spooling of the Turbo, and again the ability for more room to Tune.
----Updates----
We have a couple of Reviews from 2 well-known Evo Owner/Tuners that we would like to share their experince with the EvoPowerMods.com O2 Dump Housing.
--- Lil RIco ---
Quote-" Without tuning and driving it to work he are my first impressions:
Spool/ full boost for me is 250-500 RPM sooner, so the car feels tourqy.. I have M3 cams so I lost the down low tourqe, this brought it back and I still have my top end... It feels really good!!!
Daily driving you will not know it's on the car! You cannot hear it even at 8,000 RPM's unless your at WOT... I can boost 15 PSI and still not hear it, it comes alive at 75%+ throttle. I have some video's and stuff I'll be putting together later to show you all this.
As far as noise, yeah, it's loud when on WOT, but it sound good... It's the kind of thing that I enjoy People will look!!!! Yes it is that loud
Issue's I was having before with the stock O-2 housing that was ported was that I couldn't boost past 29-31 PSI. I'm on meth and my boost controller is at 100% DC. Once this part went in, BAM, instant 33-34 PSI Now that's what I'm talking about!!!!"
Next we have Touring Bubble / Project Tuning(owner) who is a well known Evo ECU Tuner that is on staff at as our Tuner/Consulatant here at EvoPowerMods.com
--Quote--" My first driving experience with the O2 Dump ...
Well, I've tuned the car 4 times since the dump was installed, but I hadn't driven it till yesterday. For those of you asking about sound levels while daily driving, you have nothing to worry about.
At partial throttle, I was able to accelerate fairly swiftly and build up to about 18 psi without the wastegate opening.
I started with my usual daily driving style with moderate acceleration with about 5-8 psi. The car drives very similar to mine and the sound levels were perfectly tame (considering that it has a Greddy TI installed). After that I pushed the car a little harder each time I left a light to find the limit where the WG would crack open.
What I found was that under about 60% throttle you will not hear the WG dump at all. There just isn't enough exhaust flow to warrant opening the WG even though you can build significant boost. You can go part throttle all the way to redline and it's very tame.
Now, WOT is a different story ... go WOT at low RPM and it begins to scream after about 18 psi on the test vehicle (we're using a Greddy Profec-B II EBC). This holds true for throttle above 70% or so as well since the WG needs to work after that point ... it is a little quieter if you back of the throttle a tad though.
Of course, the throttle position and amount of boost where the WG opens will vary depending on your setup."
...end quotes...
Here are a couple of Videos where you can listen to our O2 Dump in action. I personally Love the sound, it is the sound of Power...lol...Not to worry about the Db levels, when staying "out-of-it" the Dump will not open up into the atmosphere. Only when full boost is seen will our O2 Dump open up and growl like all Evos should.

Here are a few pics of our Version #2 O2 Dump that was recently given the once over after being taken off of our Test Mule #2. We decided to look over this Proto version #2 after it had seen some on the road action for the past couple weeks. We were satisfied that it had held up to our standards after giving it the once over by a visual and indepth inspection; other than some heat related tarnishing it looked great.
Any questions or suggestions feel free to email or PM me. Thanks for your support and your patience; we appreciate all of your props/comments.

Sorry for failing to mention price since it had discussed on bthe other thread. Our Price will $258.00 plus shipping. Both versions will work with aftermarket Intercooler pipes. It is much easier to fabricate for aftermarket IC pipes so hence the later version. Ant more questions just ask....Thanks for all the props and PM's..keep em coming...

We will be starting a Pre-Order list.
That way those on the list will get their O2 Dumps first and on down the list as in the order you were added to the list. This is not a prepaid list just a way to get your O2 Dump quicker than the walk-up customer.
Either PM me or Email me if you want to be added to the Pre-Order List.
Thanx,

In the 2nd video, what is that hesitation when you put the throttle down?
I'm very interested in this piece. Looks and sounds cool!

Thanx for the props, I've rewatched the video; and I dont remember any hesitation. There was a vehicle in front of us so we were mainly just wanting to get a sound clip, this was not an all-out run by any means.

So you could expect to make 10whp no problems with a minor bolt on IX? Along with better spool and kick-ass sound!

It opens at whatever PSI you are set at. All this does iv vent the wastegate to atmosphere instead of back into the exhaust. So when you hit whatever boost level you are set to the wastegate opens, but is dunped out instead of being fed back into the exhaust.
