Buschur Racing releases "Bushwacker Transmission" Upgrade
I just wanted to let you all know that Buschur Racing is now offering the Bushwacker Transmission service to the public. We have been getting alot of calls about the "Bushwacker Transmission" stickers that are run on our Evolutions as well as other customers cars that had this work done so we are now offering this as a direct service for anyone looking to upgrade the tranny in their Evolution.
The service will include:
Brand new 1st gear synchro
Brand new 2nd gear synchro
Brand new 3rd gear synchro
Brand new 4th gear synchro
Brand new 5th gear synchro
Brand new 1-2 slider
Brand new 3-4 slider
Brand new syncho springs
Heavy Roll Pins
Reshimming
Additional services that can be added:
Cryo Treating of sliders
Cryo Treating for all transmission components
Longer First Gear (2.92 to 2.78)
.76 5th gear ratio
Additional Evolution 9 Specific Upgrades:
Convert to Evo 8 longer 1.09 4th gear

i'm liking that 4th gear option for my IX
also how much shorter is that 5th gear ratio from stock?

later on if my TRE transmission blows im swapping it out for a 5speed transmission.

Yes we will be but at this time it is going to be limited as there are not alot (if any) OEM parts available at this time.

Pricing is in the link. I dont think you will have to worry about your TRE blowing up.
