Disabling CEL - Does it Still Register Knock???

If you turn the CEL of using the Utec (due to constant trouble codes like P0300), will it still flash the CEL if you experience knock in map positions other than 0?

Thanks in advance.

yes it does, but remember the knock value that your seeing is the UTEC knock, which is somewhat different than ECU's knocksum.
