Call Out to Turbo XS to Open Source Development
I have given up hope for a new firware. Can out guys at least throw us a bone and open source what you have and let us take it from here? I heard that you had a GUI interface at SEMA so you must have some development under way. Please give us what you got and let us see what we can do. There is more talent on this board than you think

I have decided to switch back to my UTEC, Although I love the logging on the ECU+ I need the multiple maps..
I also figured out how to get launch control **AND** flat shifting by disabling open loop fueling... you can set the ECU launch control, and the much higher RPM for flat shift in the UTEC..
Injector scaling, RPM Limits, etc works perfectly in a reflashed ECU, therefore OLF is no longer useful to override ECU limitations..
If TurboXS is willing to release the source for the firmware, I'd gladly continue development on it.. On the other hand, since I am switching back to it, I have found great ways to overcome ALL of its limitations.
Multiple maps and its decent logging makes the UTEC really useful..
FWIW The ECU+ is second to none for logging, and it **WILL** be the tool I use for logging/tuning other cars

Well it seems that this is going to be the only way that the few hundred people who spent around a grand for a turboxs product can get any return on their investment. . . the only way that any advancement is going to happen.

So I talked to someone on the phone from TXS about open sourcing their code. They said they were on board with it and said they would work on getting a kit together for it. Of course, that was the last that I heard of anything.
I can't believe they are even in business anymore. Complete jokes.
