It is clear as day in the instruction manaul whch you can download off of their site. How did you know which pins to put the other 2 wires to? sorry but I am not diggig out my manual becasue you can't find it in your instructions.

Don't be so harsh Ed
Did you download the manual from the TurboXS website yet ??
You will find the latest copy on this page - http://www.turboxs.com/evoutecupdate.htm
After getting the manual. look at info starting on page 53. That will give you the pinout of the molex conn.
Didn't your switch come with the 12pin molex connector on the end? It should just plug into the UTEC and work. Mine did.
If for some reason you are missing the connector, here is how mine is wired:
There are 5 wires in the main cable: red, white, light blue, light green, black.
black - pin4
white - pin5
lt green - pin6
red - pin11
lt blue - pin12
See the manual for the pin locations
I have these other 2 wires that come down from the switch in a separate gray cable, and I
don't know what they do yet, but I didn't need to hook them to anything to get the switch to work.

I don't think that I was being harsh. He called turbo xs they told him to download the instructions which clearly state the wiring for the switch. It is like asking people what an intake will do for your evo. Do a search and you will find it all. The same is the case here. If he read the instructions it is all there. BTW The other 2 wires are for a clutch switch that is used on the WRX's not the Evos. No need to use them at all. If I came acrosss harsh, I am sorry but all the info you need is in the instruction manual that as you said is readily avialable on the Turbo XS site.

I agree with you; I was just busting your balls...
Thanks for the update on the wires. Now I can just tape them off.
Hey, let's keep this thread going; it will put some activity back into this dead forum

you're not harsh at all, i guess it's just miscommunication. the wires that you just said that goes for wrx is the one i'm talking about.

Truth be told, there is nothing in the manual about the switch harness, just the pinout of the connector.
I didn't know what those "extra" wires did either. But my switch worked fine when I plugged it in.
I checked mine out by changing the switch and watching the number change on the dashboard screen on my laptop.
It sounds like you are still having trouble getting your switch to work. Is this so??
