Perrin Rear Sway Bar GB

The only way to make your car turn, stop or go is if the entire tirepatch is hitting the surface at hand. With OEM soft swaybars, the cars leans dramitically when cornering causing the tires contact patch to be less than optimal. We see the need for a farlarger and stiffer sway bar to control this "leaning" to keep the tires contact patch planted on the road!

Owners will notice the increased snap fromour new 25mm (1”) sway bar. We’ve incorporated a variety ofadjustment holes to help you custom tailor your suspension to yourspecific needs and driving habits. Made from solid steel and heavilypowdercoated to prevent the rigors of salty roads that wreck havoc withless worthy products. Included are custom sprial cut polyurethane bushings toprevent tedious re-greasing and all necessary hardware for a clean, andpainless installation.

Sway bar Settings

All PERRIN swaybars comes with multiple endlink connections. Thisallows the end user to customize the stiffness of the bar. These 3 settings can provide 5actual different setting with crossing the endlink connections. Below are some basic calculations of % change from OEM to PERRIN 25mm bars. The crossed endlink calculations are notmentioned below, but can be figured as they will fall in between therates mentioned. The sway bar settings can allow for significantchanges in sway bar functionality, with out having to go buy anothersize bar.

BAR SETTING #2 754 LBS/IN 153% RATE INCREASE OVER STOCK
BAR SETTING #3 919 LBS/IN 186% RATE INCREASE OVER STOCK

Installation

Its fairly straight forward, however if you do require assistance, Id be more then happy to install it for a $20 charge. (gets me beer)

Sweet. Finally something bigger than 22mm. I would have to know a total price though. They take care of brokerage...they add it on to the order?

Total price will depend on the total amount of people in the GB.. (see chart) as I said budget $30-$40 for shipping. So say we only had one person in the GB it would be $187.59 usd shipped

I still have to find out if we for sure still get charged duty or if thats covered on their end as well.
If its not its about $25 roughly in duty.

brokerage is included in the $30-$40 shipping price

actually this would be a even greater upgrade for de, se, gt guys since I think the gts did get stiffer rear sway bar in the rear then the other trims.

razo, why not just get the perrin one? its at such a good price right now, plus its around 200% increase in stiffness over stock on the highest setting..

even if you bought a gts one for say $100 or $80 or something.. why not just spend a few more bucks and get the perrin is all I'm saying..

my stock one is yours if you still want it though.


I spoke with my contact at perrin today and all brokerage/customs charges are included in the shipping price, however duty is still on us. I think duty is 13% so expect around another $25 or so in duty.

Again I cant finalize total shipping costs until we have our numbers set for the GB but look at it this way.. If shipping one is $40... shipping two wont be $80... maybe like $60 or so ... you can see how were saving there as well.

I also got the go ahead to run this for 3 weeks if people interested need that extra week to get money together.

Well they had like a 20% off sale, whihc would have covered shipping, But then you need to buy end links because our car doesn't even have a rear sway bar, If you trade up for a GTS bar same thing, cept you'll have to get buschings too. Well Im sure that somebody would throw those from their bar and they would be getting new ones. Just it came out to more than I wanted to pay. F-in Mitsu rip off on the end links
