Unhappy my car wont start

2003 evo, I had it sitting for a year and a half... drained the fuel and put new fuel in it and it cranked right up.. for some reason after 5k rpms the power would die out.
I tried to push it past 5k and then the car shut off, no knocking sounds comming from the engine though.. the car just wont start, even after changing the stock fuel pump with a walbro 255..

any sugestions?

Change the fuel filter, get the injectors cleaned, and make sure the filter sock on the bottom of the Walbro is clean.

You changed the oil, right?

yeah i changed the oil, the sock on the pump is clean.. i just figured out that there is no spark going to the car..

My buddy said its one of the sensors cam or crank.. im gonna get a reading on it asap to figure out the problem..

the car would lose power at 5k so im thinking its the cam sensor thats no good.
