fuel question???

is there an internal or external fuel filter...n where would it be located on and 04 model..

There are 3 "filters" on the evo. All three are in the tank.

1. bucket looking sock on passenger side fuel pickup (in the tank on pass side)
2. Sock on fuel pump pickup (drivers side in the tank/on the assembly)
3. The big white assembly that the fuel filter is installed in (driver side)

1 and 2 are pre filters if you will while 3 is the main filter element.
