AutoX -Sat. March 7th -Myrtle Beach,SC - Myrtle Square Mall site
They are having another AutoX at the Mall site on Saturday March 7th.
First points event of 09 season.
Will be lots of cars, register early.

Congrats to BJ (06MrEvo) for taking 2nd place in SM.
He Missed 1st by .160..
Last run, he beat that time, but barely clipped a cone for a +1, to put him 2nd
You were killin it..
I got 5th place and Lecon (8thWonder) was 7th.
11 in SM class total.
154 total cars.
Weather was 75* and sunny..
Had a great time, Just wish we would've had more than 4 runs each cuz of so many registered cars.
SM ran in the 1st run group @10am.
I wasn't even awake til 3rd run group, lol (night job)
We usually run in group 3.
My 1st event with the new Coilovers and car ran great.
Handles so much better now.
Will take some getting used to, just need more seat time..

true what a great day for an event. i really like that venue. i hope they can continue to have events there. it was only my 4th event but i really like the setup of the SCR, although i think they should cap the number of entries and give more runs. it is nice to be able to watch some of the cars vs just running and working.

yea, i like that location too..
If you think that one was good, you should see the Hard Rock Park lot..
Huge brand new black top, perfect for racing..
Almost as good as the Michelin Proving Grounds upstate in Mountville,SC..
Hopefully we can get that Hard Rock Park lot for a future event along with the old mall site.

i assume you mean the hard rock in myrtle? if so i will be there. i haven't seen it but i have been there several times and it is a nice lot. i see SCR still has several TBA events this year so hopefully the will have some more at this venue and the hard rock. i live near wilmington, nc so an hour is about as far as i am willing to travel for an event, but i will def. be at any in Myrtle. so that puts myrtle as my southern most site and Jacksonville as my northern one. there is one in Jacksonville in two weeks at a military air base there. supposed to be fun and fast, if you are interested.
