Texas Emissions Inspection

Here's a weird one, I'll list what whats been going on:

-Replaced stock clutch with kevlar stage 2 racing clutch (stock one got burned out by storage company who was supposed to be watching my ride, not driving)
-Have an AEM intake installed.
-CEL has been off/on at times (strangely enough, the trip mileage seems to randomly, once in a blue moon, to magically reset and not because it went over it's limit resetting back to 0.0 miles)

Dealership called me, they just installed my Megan Racing TBE and new rotors but ran into a snag with the Texas Emmisions Safety sticker. They have had an ECU code saying engine mis-fire with cylinder 3. The car runs perfectly as it did when I first got it, no problems what so ever. They claim they can't give me the $30-dollar Texas Emission's Safety sticker b/c the CEL is on. any ideas whats the problem?

Roughly 50k, still on stock plugs to my knowledge. Dealership is telling "they're pretty expensive," but I know I purchased some a month ago (and mistakenly lost them the same weekend), NGK's from autozone if I remember for roughly $40 for all four, just never got around to installing them due to work.

^ That wont work, you will get an inspection sticker , but next year you wont be able to get your car registered because you did't get an inspection sticker in the county you live in.. Until you get an inspection sticker and go down and re-register you car. Find out whats causing the code is the best solution

Just got off the horn, the ECU code is P0303, possible misfire of Cylinder #03.

Again, car runs perfect like day one. Dealership even says it will pass the smog testing (as in how much it's putting out) but until the code gets cleared out they're giving me no love. Have done the battery cable removal to reset the ECU trick, still no love. Google'ing provided me the various results:

Faulty spark plug or wire
Faulty coil (pack)
Faulty oxygen sensor(s)
Faulty fuel injector
Burned exhaust valve
Faulty catalytic converter(s)
Running out of fuel
Poor compression
Defective computer

.........something tells me I'm not gonna like the results.

(All I want is a gay ass Texas Emission's Sticker FFS)

Kinda off the wall, but starting to entertain it more and more. I only have about 60-some odd days left in the state before I roll out. My next registration will be done in Georgia. Any idea if I'll run into a weird hang up if I try to work over the system?

Talk to some mexicans.
I used to know some that could get inspection stickers for any vehicle.
How else do you see cars smoking like a freight train missing lights or windshield still going down the road, year after year?
Other than that, if your trip meter is randomly resetting......does your radio presets or clock reset at the same time? could be faulty battery connection? Check terminals for loose?
If not, bad ECU?
Or EVOgremlins.
You may have evogremlins.
