MELLON TUNING - Sign Up Thread (Houston)

hey guys,
Chris (aka MellonTuning.com) has made himself available to fly down to Houston for a small tuning session. We just need 4-5 Evos to sign up. His flight/hotel need to be covered by the group as well. This will be a custom road tune and he is very meticulous. I have personally been tuned by him 3 times w/ different turbo setups. Mellon can tune Evo 8-9 and also the new Evo X. The price for EvoX tuning is the SAME. He is a 93 octane pumpgas wizard... but can also perform E85/racegas tunes as well. If you are managed by the stock ECU... then Mellon is your guy.
Stock turbo guys can benefit alot and those w/ larger injectors and turbo upgrades can finally get their evos tuned out correctly!

* 4-5 Evos Minimum

* Custom Road Tune - $350. <--- REDUCED!!! =)

* Hotel/Flight for Chris(MellonTuning) - $50/ea person Cost covered by Group

* Gathering will be held at INLINE RACING (Houston, TX). Then need to find adequate 'road' to tune on...

The potential DATE can be set once we get a list of interested Evos that are willing to commit and then we can see what date is good for everyone. The difference between a fast evo and a slow one... is the TUNE. You get what you pay for. Get your Evo done right.

ive seen his tunes for the mellon evo, and that thing is badass. but iunno anyone thats gotten tuned from mellon with a X.

Im going after glen hehe

Absolutely! 100% a lot of people can learn the software. A lot of people know the basics of EFI tuning period... but Chris knows what an evo needs to make safe power.

alright... seems we're almost there w/ the list. I talked to Mellon and his schedule is pretty flexible. I know most of us have issues w/ being ready for the tune as of this moment. (money/mod issues)... so once we get a full list we can discuss the best date when everyone has the funds and their Evos are in shape to tune.

Well the TTP thread isnt moving and I want a tune before November rolls around because thats when my daughter will be born. Im pretty positive Im down for this tune however I still have to order my tbe which will be in the next few weeks and install some other parts along with it. So put me in the maybe column.

What I dont have is a boost gauge or wideband cuz im cutting corners to get this tune done before the big day in november. Does Mellon bring measuring equipment with him?

Ok I added PwrEvo. Also the tune price dropped to $350.00 thx to Chris!
But please remember we all have to split the airfare/hotel once a date is set. Most of us have pending issues to work out.... either money or pending installs. Could everyone let me know their "latest" wknd they can do this? Then we can try to coordinate this so we meet everyone's schedules. Thx.
