Water Problem
I need some help. I got my evo a few weeks ago and I did an all out cleaning job on it. I washed it and waxed it. I started to clean the engine and I noticed that my spark plugs looked a little dirty and when I checked in that hole they go in it was REALLY DIRTY. So i took my hose and filled all of the holes with soap and water. Then i put my plugs back on and tried to move the car back into the garage. The only problem is when I turn the key the engine sounds really bad and my car won't start. Thanks in advance for any help.

This has got to be right on the top of "World's Dumbest Stories about Cars."
THe only one that beats this is the one where the guy wanted to make his tires really shiny, so he armor-alled the WHOLE tire, including the tread. He then proceeded to crash his car (his back end suddenly cut loose). Maybe these two guys should meet up

just want to clear it up a little for myself and maybe everyone else...so evo7drvr...you removed your spark plugs and then you filled the plug holes with soap and water and then put your plugs back into them? yes or no?

How many Burbanks do you live in exactly? I know of one in CA and one in AK.
You removed the spark plugs? Or did you just remove the spark plug wires?
If you just removed the wires.....it's not sweat. Just make sure the plug holes and the plugs themselves are dry before attempting to start the car again.
If you removed the spark plugs themselves....then filled the holes with water, you filled the engine with water as a result...and if you tried to start it, you hydrolocked the engine. THAT WOULD BE BAD.
