Question OLD STOP PM My wife just rolled my 2 day old EVO!!!

My insurance just settled. They said the car was worth $32,606. (minus my $500 deductable), I lost $1500
They also said I couldn't buy the salvage rights. When I asked why and what they would do with the car they said the big boss said it was too far gone for a safe rebuild and they were going to crush it! Sounds very fishy to me . I couldn't do anything about it if I wanted my pay-off.
So I guess that's it!?!? They won't even tell me where it is. I'm getting another one in a couple months. She was going to work down a rural farm road, hit some ruts and the car pulled left, she over corrected right and started to fish tail, went off the road sideways and rolled 1 1/2 times stopping on the roof. Shes ok, only scratches from crawling out. The glass didn't even break. I'll find out in a couple days if it's totaled. IT'S TOTALED Very sad day. I'll have some depressing pics tomorrow.

Dude, I am so sorry. Glad the wife is OK... But the car. If it is totaled, what will suck is trying to get another, and if it isn't, would you want to keep a repaired car that's been rolled? I really hope it all works out.

AWWW no way!
glad the ol' lady is ok.
well folks, at least we know they are reasonably safe in rollovers...
Lets face it, we would have gotten this post or something similar eventually. The bright side is that nobody got hurt.

So I gotta ask, were you worried more about the car or the wife when you first heard?

Just kidding...

sorry to hear about the accident. Glad to hear your wife is ok. The car is just a car, it's replaceable. Lives are not.

As long as the car is ok... I mean your wife. Hopefully this is a testament to those out there that nothing is invincible, even when it is planted to the ground on four rubbers via a turboed 4g63. Again, good to hear the wifey is ok. Good luck.
