Drew WRX: Accessport vs. XEDE
Drew's WRX has a full exhaust and up-pipe. No cat.
The following are the dyno results with it running a Stg 2 Cobb Accesport ECU upgrade. One is with the ignition advance multiplier defaulted to 8 (right after ECU reset). The other higher hp graph is with the advance mulitiplier at 16 (indicating full aggressive/max positive learning). Stock cars, by comparison, usually dyno in between 160-165 depending on what the ignition advance multiplier settles to.

Next we took out the AP and ran the stock ECU. Below is the stock ECU compared to the Cobb AP. In both runs, the advance mutiplier is set to 16.
RED is stock ECU. Purple is Cobb AP.
Whp and Torque:
Boost and AFR:
Yes, the stock ECU made more peak hp and more low end/midrange. The Cobb ECU made more power above 6000rpm. But it also ran 4 more psi of boost at high rpm.

And with a custom-tuned XEDE...
Next we plugged in the XEDE (on top of the stock computer) and made more power. Just to keep things fair, I kept the boost curve nearly identical to that of the Cobb AP. Ignition advance multiplier was also set to 16.

EDIT: oh wait, did you say stage 2? So are the above numbers with the cobb 3" turboback?

This really doesn't prove a ton, as there are plenty of people out there (on Nasioc, and other Subaru forums) that dyno large gains from stock vs. Cobb Stage 1. This is 1 instance (one car with AP), and should be taken with a grain of salt (as Cobb is a direct competitor of Vishnu.)
On another note, is this XEDE a custom tune, or off the shelf map?
Good numbers out of the XEDE nonetheless.

Just to let you know, it ain't the AP's fault. Yeah that car was using the AP, but I've seen an EcuTek tuned motor wave bye bye too. It ain't the tuner, if anything it'd be the motor blowing due to oil starvation.
