So tonight i was pulled over by a stupid ******* cop so he can give me a ticket for no front license plate, and my STOCK WING! I told him it was stock and the car came with it new from the factory, he said, "tell it to the judge". He also saw that I had a 2 way in my center console when i went to pull out my registration and started interogating me about it saying that I use it for street racing, which is totally untrue. What a ****ing stupid dumb ****face pig. Has anyone else been ticketed for the stock wing on your Evo and what did you have to do to get out of it? I also was pulled over 10 minutes later for the same thing! I showed the cop my tickets and was let go. Gee , thanks *******!

Well, go take a picture of ur car now with a date on it. Go to a dealership and take a pic of a few cars all grouped together with the wing. Show it to da judge.

yeah another guy has gotten a "whale tail" ticket .... there is no reason why they can give you a ticket fpr the wing becaue...you have 2 side mirrors... did you ask him why he was giving you a ticket for your wing?

You shouldn't be fined for that. Seems to me the cop was just bored and felt like utilizing his higher authority. It makes him feel good and allows him to sleep better at night. Don't worry about it.

Just put a front license plate on and show it to whoever you have to show it to. If the judge still pushes for the spoiler fine, very politely request the dealership or corporate office of Mitsubishi pays for it. After all, you'd never purchase a vehicle if you knew it had something illegal on it.

take it to the judge and file a complaint with the police station so its atleast onrecord that its been done so no one else gets hit... some cops really ruin it all for the good ones who are out there oing their job.... POWERTRIPPPPPP

wing connot be illegal...it will only be illegal if you dont have 2 side view mirrors

the only tie your wing can be sighted as illegal is if it is obstructing view out of the rear winshield...that is the at cops discretion...but if you have two side view mirrors(the things that stick out on your door) then any obstruction of the view out of the rear windshield is nulled because you are able to view blind spots witht he 2 side view mirros...
