INFO:
Originally the Time Attack Edition CE28N. Just refinished from rash and a small bend. All perfect now. Never mounted. Was going to keep them, but while they were getting done by the local wheel guy (Sergey), he posted up a set of SE37k that I have been hunting for over 5 years! Had to purchase! Picking these up after paint, I honestly was very tempted to keep them. Just prefer to have extra money towards a set of Ohlins and custom rear flares that I will need.

I had a set of 255/35/18 Continental Extreme DW mounted on them before I had them done. No issues with rubbing at all. Caliper clearance in the front was too close for my comfort (about a credit card thickness). So I ran a 3mm spacer up front to avoid any gravel from catching and scratching. Rear calipers have plenty of clearance. In case you didnt know, CE28s are one of the lightest wheel designs from Volk. I havent put them on a scale yet, but research indicates 17lbs for 18x9.5

The color is truly amazing. The depth and variance due to lighting differences and angles is awesome. Today we have an overcast of clouds so the lighting is more grey and cold. I took pics with flash and without, the flash pictures look very similar to how they would look on a bright sunny day. If the sun ever comes out I'll capture more photos unless they sell beforehand.

I had planned on purchasing authentic replacement stickers from:
http://www.nengun.com/rays/replacement-rim-sticker
They are 40.00 for a set of 4 of "CE28" and set of 4 "Volk Racing"

Or you can purchase replica decals from:
http://www.acromann.com/product_info...roducts_id=424
25.00 for a set of 4 "CE28" decals in a large variety of color combos.
http://www.acromann.com/product_info...roducts_id=423
25.00 for a set of 4 "Volk Racing" decals in a large variety of color combos.

The faded cap and top nut for one of the valvestems (the other 3 are still black). You can buy a set of 4 caps for cheap in any color you wish if it bothers you enough. Seems like the anodizing that Rays Engineering does, isnt very extremely durable.

The same top nut after a quick touch up using the black paint pen

I havent mounted 265s on them. I was planning on it since I had plenty of clearance. Really depends on how low you want to go. A roll in the rear would be plenty of clearance. I believe +24 with a 265 is the most you can squeeze on stock body. So these being +34 youll still have clearance.

Pics of damage prior to repair? How was it damaged? I ask because a forged rim would need special treatment to repair.

I didnt even think to take pics because it was very very minor. I didnt have intentions to sell them either. Main reason why I had them professionally done because I wanted them mint and because I was tired of pulling up to some ricer with the same themed wheel or hubcaps.
