on the second car, you can probably attribute 50 awhp to that 1700 dollar intake :-)

wow, that really shows the difference in intakes huh. I wonder how much more power the first car would've made with a stock one

Did the housing really add that much lag despite having a 2.3l? Full spool went from 4500 to 4800 with a 2.3l, bigger housing, and intake manifold.

Thought the same thing. I figured the increased displacement would have offset the the housing and intake manifold size increase. Second chart looks a little peaky.

I like the first setup more.

My guess is that it's an open housing.

The .70ar hotside caused a little of the later spool on the 2.3, but I did forget to put the cam info in the specs. The 2.3L was running some 280 Crane Cams and the 2.0L was running a set of 260 Tomei Cams which is the real reason for the difference in spool.

I'll have to look for pics of the two cars. Not sure if I took any?

Both turbos where standard open T3 turbine inlet.

I'll edit the specs to include the info you guys have brought up.

I'll say that the 2.0L reved crazy fast through the power band. I thought it reved fast on the dyno when I tuned it, but when I took it to the street, third gear is completely unusable because you run into traffic fast when 100mph comes in 2-3seconds.

Thanks for looking

Which Tomeis?
PonCams (low lift) or ProCams (high lift)? They both come advertised as 260.
