Inside the Brian Crower 2.6L stroker...

It's been quite hard to find any information about this kit, I know SBR runs a 2.5L version with great success so I went ahead and ordered the 2.6L stroker for my 4G64-block.

Enjoy!

CP pistons with some extra options

Thicker piston bolt but shorter to keep weight down.

The "pro-series" rod

The beauty... the 106mm stroker crank

Custom head gasket

It's going in this EVO VI

More information about my car can be found at the Swedish car forum Zatzy.

Dustin says 9500, I'd say max 8000rpms...

Choice of turbo will be revealed later

It uses a 6.000” rod. The limiting factor is going to be the valve train. The bottom end is safe to go as high as your cam and valve train will let the engine go.

Thank you,

Dustin

9500 rpm with a 106mm stroke sounds crazy, I would have guessed something like 7500-8000 rpm.

Dustin,

What’s the recommended max rev with the 2.6L stroker?

Got it today, looks amazing!

Alex

I went thru 3 of his 2.4 stroker kits all of them garbage. Brian ended up giving me my money back in the even had his own recommended machine shop call me on a 2.4 kit they were doing for a customer back in the midwest and said the kit was junk. After 3 cranks and 3 sets of rods that where milled wrong

What's the price tag on this kit? This could make having a 35r on an evo a LOT more fun!
