No wonder it's slower in the 0-60 time
Regular lancer (I know totally diff cars) only weighs in at 3,100 for the gts hmm...

I photocopied those pages from the dealer info binder when I ordered my MR yesterday.
I posted them on evoxforums.com yesterday.
There were seven pages of relevance. Four were the basic specs and three were tech specs.
Jackygor missed the first page which had the HIDs on it, so I have just added that.
He double posted one of the tech sheets-the one w the stabilizer bars on it, so he missed the page with the curb weight on it which I added last night.
The only info really missing now is the price! And they tell me that they will get it to me as soon as they know, but I probably won't hear until just before the GSR arrives in Jan. or Feb.

Also, I'm wondering if this is a typo.
I can't help wondering how its possible for the car to gain that much weight given they must have spent a lot of time and money developing that aluminum motor to save 27lbs over the 4g63, then they decided to go w aluminum fenders, hood, and roof to save even more weight.
So lets say they had stuck with the 4g63 and left the body panels as steel, that would have put the weight increase at 400lbs. Theres no way a different tranny and clutch setup could account for that type of gain. Plus, the GSR w regular tranny and clutch still would weight close to 300lbs over the previous gen car..
