honda guys say it is great, and also gets rid of surge according to synchronics testing. They supposedly use a piston rather than a diaphram.

We have used them acouple times and have a few here to. They worked really good, we havnt used them on a evo yet tho. I would say it would work great on the evo to, if you needed it to recirculate it would take a little extra work to get it to.

the bov works, but i wouldent buy it just for the fact that they tried to scam people into thinking it was super fast by putting stiff spring in a tial and comparing the two, check youtube for vids of this.

I don't have any idle probs at all... I just get an annoying fluttering sound from the HKS

=actually compressor surge from it not opening enough/fast/soon enough=not meeting the entire purpose for a DV/BOV in the first place.

Regarding their own description on the link posted above, WTF is "synchronic technology"?

The video there doesn't work either.

Not impressed.

Yup, exactly. We've used this on an evo and an srt-4. The leak was horrible on the evo couldnt even hit full boost (everything was checked with leak test etc etc) and on the srt-4 it worked okay better than the evo. Held boost fine for the most part. Both cars were near stock boost range so in my opinion there are definately better bovs on the market. It was a good idea but no cigar imo
